If you are trying to lose weight, weighing yourself on the scale everyday WILL drive you nuts!
If you are going to be obsessive and check your weight loss progress daily, use the mirror...not the scale. The mirror will show the most accurate results.
So many different factors come into play when weighing yourself. The time of day, how much fluids you have had to drink, food, clothing, you're building muscle (muscle weighs more than fat), and more. What this means is that your weight will fluctuate through out the day and through out the week giving you several different numbers.
You'll check the scale in the morning and it will say 150 pounds. Then you check the scale at 4p.m. the same day and it'll say 153. Right after you shift into a state of depression, you'll then realize the next day it's right back at 150!
When you're on a diet and you are trying to lose weight, weigh yourself once a week, and first thing in the morning upon waking before you drink, eat, etc. This should give you the most accurate results.
