If you have been looking for way's to lose weight and burn fat with diet and exercise, take a short break and learn more about 7 things you should NOT do with diet and exercise:

1. Do not restrict nutrients such as with those fad diets (low carb, low fat, low calorie, etc.) out here nowadays. Doing things like that will cause a reduction in your metabolism, a loss of energy, and so much more.

2. Do not follow someone else's diet. Everyone's body is unique and therefore will require a unique approach to diet and exercise.

3. Do not check the scale too much. Constantly checking the scale and not seeing the results you want could lead to a drop in motivation.

4. Do not have cheat days in the beginning of your diet. When you first start out dieting, you are more vulnerable to break your diet. That's why I highly recommend you don't have cheat days in the beginning as they could cause you to overdo it and give up on your dieting efforts.

5. Do not over-train. Starting out with an exercise plan, you may be excited and anxious to reach your goals and therefore could end up wanting to do as much of it as possible. This is extremely dangerous and can warrant some serious consequences. I highly recommend you take it easy and steady with your exercise plan. Also, be sure to consult your physician before beginning an exercise regimen to determine what type of exercising would be most beneficial for you based off of your current physical condition.

6. Do not starve yourself for fast weight loss....or at all for that matter! I know you may want to lose your pounds as quickly as possible, but please don't get caught up into the popular tactic of severely reducing calories (starvation) to lose weight fast. This is a surefire way to slow down your metabolism, lose energy, cause muscle loss, and many more health complications.

7. Do not diet temporary. Proper nutrition and exercise should be something you should do for life...not just for the duration of some diet plan to reach your goals. Once you reach your goals, STAY with a healthy lifestyle...for life.

Those things above are things I learned through out my quest to lose weight and burn away fat...and let's just say...I learned the hard way!
